Please read all the poems; however, you will notice that you have each been assigned a certain poem. I would like you to focus on that poem, thinking about how that poem writes the environment or nature. What kind of language is used? What is being said about nature? What is the speaker’s connection to nature? Does the speaker see nature in spiritual terms? Political terms? Philosophical terms? What kind of connection can you make between your poems, or the poems generally, and Dillard’s Pilgrim at Tinker Creek?
Remember, the blog post is due Wednesday, September 10 by 8:00 PM. Please make sure you can access the blog before then so we can troubleshoot any problems. From this point on blogging is mandatory and missing a blog will result in grade penalties.
